Beginning January 23, 2024, we have started the Sewer Collection Project for the City of Flippin. This project is being conducted by Carstensen Contracting with a 600-day contract to complete. The Project includes pipe bursting of approximately 35,297-l.f. of gravity sewer mains, installation of approximately 12,579-l.f. of gravity sewer mains, rehabilitation and installation of manholes, sewer service connections, installation of three (3) new sewer lift stations and associated force mains, and other associated appurtenances.

 WHAT TO EXPECT: 

·    The contractors will be working throughout different neighborhoods and will be going door to door before coming onto the homeowner’s property to inform you what they will be doing.

·   Construction will impact (halt) travel in alleys and roadways. You may have to detour around active construction zones. 

·   Construction will be loud.

·   You may be notified by the contractor of interruptions in sewer service in your area. They will be doing their best to minimize this time, but it is inevitable.
